A human being transforms energy. A person receives, uses, changes and sends energy. The chakras connect a person with the energy of the earth and the universe. This connection resembles a thread or a channel. The chakras are located on this channel. A chakra looks like an open flower. The first chakra is located on the bottom of this thread and is opened towards the bottom. It is the same place where our sexual organs are. This chakra is responsible for the energy supply from the earth. The seventh chakra, which is also called crown chakra is the connection to the universe. This chakra is located on the most outer end of the head and is opened towards the top. All the chakras are located along the spine and are opened towards the front of the body.
 
There are nine chakras:

• Root chakra
• Sexual chakra
• Solar plexus
• Heart chakra
• Throat chakra
• Forhead chakra, also called the third eye
• Crown chakra
• Joy
• Clarity
